How to use Talent Intelligence?

Talent Intelligence feature is a talent market footprint represented by the set of real-time visual dashboards.

It helps better understand the market, discover offbeat sources to attract candidates, hone the recruiting strategy together with a hiring manager, and get more relevant candidates in the most cost-effective way.

In order to access the feature, create a general search for the role you are currently working on. Your query can be based on any search parameter: a required main skill, list of donor companies, universities, job titles etc.

By default, the results page will show you the list of profile previews that fit the entered search requirements. But in order to access the new feature, switch to the “Intelligence'' tab to start exploring the data for the targeted candidate pool.

Here you can find aggregated information about the targeted talent pool visualised in a set of horizontal histograms and bar graphs. They represent data on the following criteria:

  • years of experience;

  • years in current company;

  • seniority level;

  • company size;

  • city or country;

  • company;

  • skills;

  • industry;

  • current position;

  • education.

A quick tip: for the bar graphs that depict statistics for the city or country, company, skills, industry, current position and education parameters, by default, the system shows top 5 results. To expand the list to top 10 positions, click on the “more” option.

Access to real-time market insights allows you to look into the talent landscape from a bird’s eye view and come up with the most efficient search strategy.

In case you want to narrow down the sample, just add or exclude additional search parameters or use filters on the left.

A quick tip: you can see the exact number of candidates for some specific category in the histogram just by pointing at the bar of interest.

Now, having explored the market map, you can share the results with your hiring manager, discuss potential sourcing hurdles and, if necessary, refine the search strategy. This will help you make more informed decisions and avoid falling into the “expectations vs. reality” trap.

In order to share the report, you can export it in a PDF file right from there. Just choose the “Download” option at the upper right corner and enjoy the detailed statistics provided for each of the parameters you can now send to your hiring manager.

By the way, you can also get the analytics for your existing folder and access visualised aggregated data on the sourced candidates.

Just open your folder, click on the “Search in folder” button and switch to the “Intelligence” mode. You can download the report in PDF and share it with your manager as well as your whole folder.
